Welcome to Visit-Mali's Website!

Hello! Welcome to Visit-Mali.blogspot.com ! Here you can learn about all the wonderful things you can see if YOU decide to come and visit. Here you can get a sneak-peek of government, language, education, religion, architecture, and arts. Enjoy your trip!

Decorative Arts

Come admire the beautiful arts in Mali! We've adopted the Muslim style of art. We use intricate geometric patterns,  sometimes with Qu'ran sayings written on them in calligraphy.

Religion

In Mali, you can experience the religion of Islam! Our law is based on the five pillars of Islam: prayer, statement of faith,  hajj, fasting, and donating. We also celebrate Muslim holidays.

Architecture

Come and admire our beautiful new, innovative architecture! Mansa Musa brought us the exquisite architecture style of the Spanish. We also now use drain pipes made of clay, and we've also built all kind of new mosques everywhere. Come check it out!

Government

Come and live under the new, structured government brought to us by our main influence, the Muslim empire. We live by the Shari'ah,  the Muslim government/law. No more small-scale goverment, with local chiefs, it's out with the old and in with the new!

Education

Here in Mali, we pride ourselves on our education system. We've built many schools, especially in Timbuktu, where there's over 150. You can study all kinds of important subjects that you will use later in your life, including:

  • Mathematics
  • Astronomy
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Geography
  • History
  • Art
  • Qu'ran

Qu'ran is something you would study if you were being educated in Mali.

Language

Brush up on your Arabic! This universal language is used all over Mali. We sue it for religion, education, government history, and more! It's best that if you visit, you know Arabic pretty well because that will make it much easier to communicate with locals.
